Counseling/Learning Advocacy

Students in need of counseling  receive these services from Christine Siegrist, MA or Leslie Livingston, MA, when Christine is not available.
Originally from south of New Orleans, Christine Siegrist has resided in New Mexico since 2003, working in the counseling and mediation fields. Her experience includes concentration with at-risk youth, assessment of the best interests of children within the context of divorce and separation, and mentorship of local teens. Christine holds a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and an M.A. from Southwestern College in Santa Fe. She is an independently licensed mental health counselor. Christine is a dedicated student of circus arts and enjoys hiking in the mountains with her boxer dogs, riding a bright blue electric bicycle, and assisting with local non-profits and action groups. She is thrilled to be a part of the Desert Academy community.
